Condenser Fan Motors

What is a condenser fan motor?

The condenser fan motor is the fan motor that pulls or pushes air over the refrigerant coils on commercial and residential central air conditioning systems. The fan moving air over the coils allows the refrigerant circulating within the coils to change physical states from a vapor to a liquid.

How do I select the correct condenser fan motor?

When replacing a condenser fan motor, you have options. You can buy the OEM (Trane, Carrier, Lennox, etc.) branded motor or you can buy a standard stock replacement motor by brands like Fasco, Century, Packard, Marathon, or Genteq. Dreisilker sells both. For simple fan applications, like condenser fan motors, standard stock motors can perform the same task at a fraction of the OEM branded motor cost.
