Service Advisory 1: UPS has suspended their service guarantees.
The official note from UPS.com reads: "Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, we have suspended the UPS Service Guarantee (also referred to as the UPS Money Back Guarantee) for all shipments from any origin to any destination. For all U.S. origin shipments, the Service Guarantee suspension became effective as of March 24, 2020.
So, what does this mean and how does this impact you? If your part is critical, please continue to use UPS expedited services. They will get the part from our warehouse to your door as quickly as possibly.
Orders originating from our warehouse will continue to ship same day but once it's in the hands of UPS, they will do what they can to get the package to your according to your preferred shipping method.
This also means that there are uncertainties and if there are flight cancellations or workforce reductions, the part might take slightly longer than normal. Unfortunately, this delay won't be reimbursed until further notice.
Service Advisory 2: USPS and UPS SurePost are experiencing tracking issues and prolonged delivery times.
Orders using the UPS SurePost shipping method may experience gaps in tracking scans and/or prolonged delivery times.
So, what does this mean and how does this impact you? UPS SurePost is an economical shipping method where UPS picks up the package from our warehouse and hands the package off to the United States Postal Service for residential delivery. The United States Postal Service is currently experiencing stresses due to recent operational changes and the global COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, these stresses have added days onto delivery times and have caused extended periods of time between tracking scans.
While we continue to offer UPS SurePost as an economical shipping method, we do encourage customers to use the standard UPS Ground and expedited services for more time urgent orders.
